Letter of Intent and Participation

The mission of the Hang Ten Volleyball Club is to provide an opportunity for all players to reach their potential in the sport of volleyball and to work closely with others in a competitive environment to achieve a common goal. The fulfillment of this mission requires everyone's support. We ask our coaches to exhibit the highest level of conduct and be a positive example for the players. Likewise, we expect our players and their parents to subscribe to a high level of conduct and observe the following:
- Tournaments are played on Saturdays and/or Sundays and participation is mandatory.
- Parents must provide transportation to and from intra-regional tournaments. No player is allowed to drive another player to a tournament.
- Players and Parents agree to follow the rule and regulations of any and all facilities in which HangTen may play or practice.
- Players and parents are expected to maintain a courteous manner, both on and off the court, during all Club activities including practices, games, and travel to and from events.
- After the first full match of the season, if a player is to leave the club, they are still responsible for the unpaid balance for the entire season. The payment method will still remain available to them and they will not be asked to make a lump sum payment until the seasons completion.
- Special needs situations need to taken to club management and not to coaches. Coaches have no authority within the club to make decisions regarding billing or membership status. Contact information is provided below to communicate with management.
We agree to the guidelines above and to pay for our share of the costs incurred for the entire season regardless of whether or not we remain with the club. The costs include the base fee of $2450.00 + travel for Power League. The additional costs include administrative, airline, hotel and transportation fees. We understand that there is a 10% administrative fee added to travel to cover our administrative costs during travel arrangement. We understand that we will be provided with an invoice that itemizes each of the fees for which we are responsible. We understand that our signatures and our $1300 deposit ($500.00 of which is non-refundable), payable to Hang Ten VBC, guarantees a place on the roster of the team of the coach listed below.
